Topics in these areas are covered in a longitudinal course called Masters Colloquium which extends over the first 2 years of undergraduate medical education.
Comments:
As a new medical school, the initial emphasis has been on applied knowledge and training for clinical competence. This is reflected in successful USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 examinations and subsequent high residency fill rates of >98%. The curriculum is actively being updated as gaps are identified.
